Picture this...
A warm sunny day, with a slight breeze.
Collin is out with daddy.
I lay Madelyn down for her nap.
I open the window, turn on the fan and plant myself on the couch for just a few moments of much needed relaxation.
It isn't long before Madelyn is calling my name.
She calls me into her room no less than four times.
I tend to the varying needs she decides that she has at each bedtime.
Once again I am safe on the couch.
Eyes closed, fan humming.
I lay and think about how I am in NO hurry to get her into a girl bed for fear she will never sleep again.
Not even 30 seconds later I hear my name again.
But this time it sounds closer.
Her door knob is rattling.
You have to be kidding me!
Please say it isn't so...
Oh it's so alright...
Madelyn has learned how to crawl out of her crib.
Have mercy...
