Happy Birthday Andi!

Today is my sister in law's birthday... I hate the "in law" part, let's call her my sister "in love", much better don't you think?
Poor thing isn't at all beautiful is she?  ;)

Our sweet Andi,
It is no secret that we all adore you.
You are everything I ever dreamed of for my brother.
Everything I ever prayed for in a sister.
Everything I wanted for my children's aunt.
You will be an exceptional mommy.

Your laugh is contagious.
Your smile, radiant.
Your humor, delightful.

You are stunningly beautiful on the outside,
and every bit as lovely on the inside.
Joy walks in 10 feet ahead of you and lingers even when you leave.

We are abundantly blessed to have you as our own.
I always wondered what it would be like to have a sister...
now I know!
Everyone needs an Andi
and we are blessed to have the one and only...
I am so glad that you are one who God chose to complete our family!  ;)
HaPpY BiRtHdAy!
We love you more each day!!

A shout out to daddy!

My kids have the BEST daddy EVER!
I mean really, Ryan is a wonderful daddy.
He loves spending time with our babes...
And they love spending time with their daddy!
Daddy is always up for fun...

I am VERY blessed to be able to work part time.  Daddy works an afternoon shift so that he can be home with the kids while I am at work.  I love that the 3 of them can share that special time together.  Ryan has always been a very hands on daddy.
Our kids think he hung the moon...

After a fun summer, I started back to work this week and have worked a few full days while trying to get back into the swing of things.  Daddy has had the days off and has stayed with the kids.  What a huge help he has been.  Cleaning the house, making dinner... and I'm not talking mac and cheese...
we're talking steak people!
Oh yes he did!

I am blessed to be parenting with him.
Daddy doesn't do hair bows.
He may not always choose matching outfits...
heck, they may still be in their pajamas when I get home!
But truth be told,
The only concern that I have when I leave my kids home with their daddy...
Is that they won't care a thing about me when I get back!  ;)

Labor Day

There wasn't much "laboring" going on today.  We spent the day relaxing at Grammy and Papa's house!  Hangin with the family, now that's what I like to call a perfect day!
Trying to get the perfect picture of my little family,
well that's just funny...
Our day was filled with bike rides...
"Duck, duck, goose" or something of the sort...
Daddy and his ducklings...
Daddy and son time,
oh my heart look at these two!
Books with Uncle Dude...
Fishy lips with Grammy

Laughing at pictures...
Smiles...

Peek~a~boo

Muscles...
Ice SCREAM!

And best of all,
this day was full of L~O~V~E!
XO

Tag

My bloggy friend Tammy from Matter of Fact tagged me in a question and answer.
Here it goes... ;)

1. Why did I start blogging?
I started blogging as a way to journal for my children and our family.
All of my blogging friends are an extra special added bonus!
2. If I could travel anywhere in the world with no restrictions of costs, were would it be and why ?
I would have to say Ireland.
3. Did you have a teacher in school that had a great influence on your life? If so, what?
My parents are, and have always been, my most inspiring teachers.
4. If you could spend a day with a famous person who would it be and what would you do?
Hmmmm...
I'm going to go with Beth Moore.  She just seems like so much fun and is so full of Godly wisdom that I would love to spend the day chatting with her.
5. Toilet paper over or under.
Over :)
6. Name one thing in your life you would do over if possible.
I wouldn't change a thing.  God has blessed me beyond measure.
We all make mistakes, but that's how we grown and learn.
7. Tell about the pets- if any.
No pets at our house !!  We used to have the sweetest chocolate lab that we named Mocha.  When Collin was 16 months old and I found out I was pregnant with Madelyn we gave him to Ryan's brother who has lots of land and another lab who is around the same age.  I couldn't stand the thought of keeping up with two small children and dog hair.  :/
8. Do you live in a small town or large town.
Just your average suburb.

I am now tagging my sweet friend Selina.  You're it girlfriend!

Speaking of tag...
These two had the best time running all over the yard this afternoon.
Their squeals and giggles just warmed my heart!

I find new reasons to love these sweet babes each and every day!
My love cup runneth over!

Rednecks

Is that what they call you when you play outside in your diaper/underwear and drink water from the hose?
