Changes...

I LOVE the sound of my children's voices.  I try to memorize the way they sound because I know that all too soon it will change...
Along with the sound of their voice, I love the way they pronounce their words.  Collin has a melodic rhythm to his voice that tickles me to pieces.  One of my all time favorites has always been the way he says "kelihopter" (aka helicopter).
To my dismay, he was talking to me the other day and it happened...
He said helicopter....
I actually asked him to repeat it several times just to make sure...
It really happened...
gone are the days of the "kelihopters".

But then today we were driving to Target in the rain and my heart was tickled all over again as he sang...
"Rain, rain, go away COMES SAGAIN some other day".

It's the little things that make a momma's heart happy.
The little things, that are actually really the big things...

  3. That is the truth...the little seconds they are babies and then instantly before your very eyes and you don't even notice they are big and you miss those baby moments that will always hold a special place in your heart...and you will always long for them to be little again..but you will always hold the memories deep in your heart..never to be forgotten..
