Cause that's how he rolls...

Daddy that is.
When daddy does bath time, he does it up big.
And by big, I mean real BIG.

He's way cooler than mommy~

Giving thanks...

Yesterday was a fantastic day spent with some of our very favorite people!!  We missed all of our out of towners but felt you there in spirit!  ;)

We had a packed house at mom's and I didn't take many pictures at all.  I was too busy chatting and eating and working my way through the crowd of love.

I made matching outfits for baby Mak and Mads, Collin wore a coordinating shirt.  You can hardly tell in this picture but they were every kind of cute!  Mads just couldn't get enough of sweet lil Mak attack.  She is adorbs, we love her to pieces, can't wait until she is up and runnin!!  If she is anything like her mother she will be hil~arious!

Madelyn got to help feed the babe and she was Thrilled, yes Thrilled with a capital T.

We attempted a kids group shot but could not get all three to look and smile.  Poor Collin had something in his eye and the flash was just about blinding him.  The boy is a trooper though and kept on tryin flash his best smile...

A short, and I mean short, rest.

Madsy got a  big kick out Trevor, Nick and Joe.
That is until Joe told her not to touch the TV and then she decided
"I not your fren".
Easy come, easy go, that's how friendship works in her world!

I have so very much to be grateful for.
I am humbled by God's favor.
I am completely undeserving and yet he continues to bless me.
I am certainly blessed beyond measure.
Thankful beyond what I can explain.
My heart if full, overflowing really.
Thank God, from whom all blessings flow~

A Thanksgiving Feast

Yesterday I went to a Thanksgiving feast, preschool style.
I helped in Collin's class yesterday and completely enjoyed being the mom at the event rather than the teacher!
Collin was so excited to have me there which just melted my heart.
He kept hugging me and saying "I'm glad you came momma".
Priceless~

An indian at the feast.
A "mean king" for the preschool Thanksgiving story.
Collin had the lead role in the class play!!
You can see the pilgrims lined up on one side and the indians on the other.  Collin stood up front in the middle of the two and had the only individual speaking part in the whole performance!  Everyone else spoke together in a group but "mean king" Collin had his very own lines!

"You must pray to my God, and you must go to my church!"
After his role as "mean king" he made a quick costume switch again and was now a pilgrim.
The boy had a taste of Thanksgiving from all sides!!

  Smile for your mommas!

So happy to have spent the day with my favorite little boy.  My heart is full, we have SO very much to be thankful for~

Did you eat some?

Today the kids helped me with some baking.
We made brownie bottom chocolate chip cookie squares.
They are every bit as delicious as they sound.

Hey Madelyn what are you doing?
 I stirrin'...
 Did you eat some?
No!
Are you sure you didn't eat any?
No, I not eat any.

Pretty clear evidence I would say...

Bowling Night!

Tonight was a fun night for our boy!  We went to family night with his preschool class at the bowling ally.  We left Madelyn with Grammy, Papa, Uncle Dude and Aunt Andi, so she had her fair share of attention as well!  :)

Collin had a GREAT time and so did we!  Loved to see him interact with his teachers!  It is obvious that he adores them and they all had such nice things to say about him.  We are so grateful for the wonderful care that he gets while at school.  Makes it so much easier for a momma to drive away knowing that there are wonderful women there caring for him.  :)

And now for the fun part...

Here is the "mom you are totally embarrassing with your camera" picture...

 A little lesson from daddy...

He would roll and immediately walk away hurrying to his seat on the step to watch what happened.
He was a bit shy with the audience.  :)
He made this face several times on his walk back.
 Daddy bowled too!
Love these boys.

Collin requested pictures with his teachers, yet another sign that he loves them!

 Ms. Kathy
 Ms. Pam

Collin has said "I had SO much fun bowling with you tonight" over and over and over, and truth be told, it just gets sweeter every time he says it.  Love this boy and want to savor our time with him as he is growing much too fast!
